Elachee Nature Science Center: Live Animal Exhibit Corridor Renovation

Designed and coordinated the construction and installation of new casework to coincide with the existing knotty-pine wall cases; thereby eliminating the mix match of terrariums and standalone cases. Addressed the interior environments of each case; introducing cyc-wall photograph panels depicting natural setting indicative of the environment for the animal on display. Still to be addressed is the arrangement and tweaking of natural prop elements and free form, custom, stoneware for water sources special to the demands of each case interior – replacing the current plastic basins and bowls. When budget allows, interpretive wall panels and ceiling treatment consisting of decorative banners will be introduced throughout the corridor.
