Design of a 40’x40′ island exhibit for the World of Window Covering international exposition in Orlando, Florida. The booth constructed primarily out of an Octanorm-like system produced by client. Turnils, based in the United Kingdom, is a manufacturer of slats for venetian blinds. The photo is the first year installation. The venetian blind feature with Turnils logo would open and close through automation. The drawing documents show the designs for the second year 40’x40′ island configuration. This design relies heavily on the Interlock Truss System incorporating the actual color range of slats, stretched within the truss structures. This reminiscent of the string art created during childhood.
