The Scottish Tartan: Cultural Fabric of a Nation

Exhibition explores the creation of the tartan, how it is woven, the significance of pattern and color and how it is worn. The exhibition also examines the place of the tartan as a defining element in Scottish cultural history and investigates the influence of Scottish culture in the southeastern United States.
